Former Starbucks COO Troy Alstead joined Indian startup a hospitality unicorn OYO Hotels & Homes. He will be joining as an independent director of the board along with other board members Betsy Atkins, Munish Varma, Bejul Somaia, Aditya Ghosh, and Mohit Bhatnagar.

Troy Alstead worked in Starbucks for 24 years at various position, He started his journey at Starbucks in 1992 and got retired on Feb 2016 as COO. At present, he is a one founder and CEO of Washington based company Ocean5 and Table47. Ocean5 is an entertainment centre blended with bowling and fine dining shows Mr Alstead true passion about social connection and environmental protection. Troy Alstead is also one of the Board of the director of  Harley-Davidson.

Troy has an excellent profile and an extraordinary carrier ahead of him. He has a vast knowledge about management and social affair. Building ground up and binding big global operation will come handy with his supervision. His appointment will also help the firm to keep itself intact in this COVID-19 pandemic situation which has immense pressure on the company, making firm to layoff its employees and applying pay cuts.
