In may 2020, GOQII has launched a new wearable called the Vital 3.0. The new wearable features sensors that can detect body temperature. As such, the company claims that the wearable can be used in the battle against COVID-19 Coronavirus by detecting an increase in body temperature. The company claims that it has partnered with German health tech startup Thryve to conduct a clinical study in India to detect COVID-19 infections earlier than testing.
